Madison Rasmussen, CMT

Madison is a certified massage therapist dedicated to creating experiences for others to feel deep presence, peace, and restoration. Her sessions support the body’s natural ability to heal from chronic stress or strain. She offers Swedish massage sessions or clothed table sessions that incorporate principles of Bowen therapy, myofascial release, acupressure, and shiatsu. Madison graduated from Massage Therapy Institute in Davis and is currently completing a master’s program in mental health counseling from Palo Alto University. Her education and previous career as a health educator inform her compassionate and collaborative approach to working with clients. 

Madison sees clients Mondays 9-5, Thursdays 9-1, Fridays 9-3:30, Saturdays 2:30-7 and Sudays 10-4.

Julie Woodside, CBT

Julie fell in love with Bowen work in 1995, and studied with Ossie and Elaine Rentsch, Milton Albrecht, Gene Dobkin and Raymond Augustinyak. She has also studied Swedish and deep tissue massage, Therapeutic Touch techniques, several types of Reiki, and Matrix Energetics. She offers sessions using a traditional approach to Bowen (Bowtech) therapy, or an integrated combination of her other trainings. She believes the body always strives toward healing and balance, and is honored to be a part of anyone's journey toward health and wholeness.

Julie sees clients Wednesdays 3-7p, Fridays 4-8p, and Saturdays 10-2

Amy Balaam, CMT

Amy is a graduate of National Holistic Institute who is passionate about helping clients reconnect with their bodies through therapeutic, client-centered care. Inspired by her own healing journey, she is especially drawn to myofascial release, nervous system-focused bodywork, and restorative massage. Amy enjoys working with individuals experiencing stress, tension, chronic pain, and the physical effects of everyday life. Her approach is gentle, intuitive, and tailored to each client's unique needs. She is committed to continuing her education and helping clients feel more balanced, comfortable, and at home in their bodies.

Amy sees clients Tuesdays 9-5, Thursdays 2-7 and some weekends.

Amy Moran, CMT, CBT

Amy began her practice in 2011 after extensive advanced training in Bowen therapy from Christine Jones, a student of Ossie Rentsch and Milton Albrecht, two of Tom Bowen's six students. In 2020, she extended her services to include restorative myofascial release massage, and in 2021 completed training in Internal Family Systems therapy and is now offering somatic counseling. She relocated to Eugene, Oregon in the summer of 2023 and returns to Sacramento a few times a year to meet with the team, teach, and see clients (contact her directly for availability at 541.228.0393).
